Young, she rises.

Moon, young she rises
What a headstrong creature
Galloping out of the night, untamed
Exuberant ego outrageously engorged
Jupiter squared
Racing after Aphrodite’s seemly tail

 - no chaperone Saturn in sight!

While Uranus, the reckless desperado, magnetical Opposite
Loudly challenges her to wilder excesses
To over-leap the frontiers of the revocable;
And Pluto there, behind the scenes
Unsmiling, manipulating the strings
To get her into the super-glued fix
That fate requires – only Ignorance could do it!
Albeit, harnessed by chivalrous trine
  • given enough rein to deem herself free
free to leap, to fall headlong into the depths
of her own alleged initiative, her own free choice.
So called!

Sobeit!
Pluto knows best.
And has no need to prove a point.
For there she goes, the mazy moon
Perversely obedient to higher Law
Dragging the whole planetary crew in her wake
In accordance with Pluto’s dark, penitential purposes
Into the grim hells below
Into the stewpots  of retribution.
Only folly could dare.
