Faith in the Future
Have it, my lovelies!
Never doubt the efficacy or fact
of creating tomorrow, now;
as certain as the day, millennia, epoch follow each other
so the collective thrust of evolving
impels us forward, connects us up
inexorably;
shaped by the clarity of intention
and manifest grassroots coherence
in each moment - in love and deed.
Some see the future as for ever
out of our grasp.
Time, a man-made delusion,
a matter of relativity, dependent on an observer,
compacted into the infinite-Now.
Others see a Möbius strip:
eternally singular with a clever twist.
The cosmic ouroborus, Jormaghandr,
devouring its own tail.
Even tale, as well.
It may even be fixed and settled.
Only it’s component parts in flux,
juggling with probabilities at best.
Or could it be a no-thing,
like an empty screen
for beingness in the instant Now,
to write upon, configure?
Leaving an indelible mark or second-hand shadow
imprinted for ever?
How is it different from the past?
With all its clutter and clobber
of effect, consequence.
it’s records and storage being as solid
as any archeological evidence in stone.
Does it, like the various manifestations of physical hydrogen
appear as ice, as liquid or steam,
in gaseous or jel-format - even crystalline?
dependent on - the pressure, chemical volatility, temperature?
I.e. an external context?
Ding dong, the mystery of causality:
feebly evidenced by hearsay.
No wonder, the physicists panic
for proof!
Proving nix…except the possibility that the faith bit
may be somehow affiliated
with, um, that which creates…
