Rhetoric
O, I am so, so weary of the repetition:
the coercive process of brain-bashing
with the same old, same old, fear-based,
words, intentions, speil and spin
relentlessly coming from every angle
in tortures over-bearing white light
- wherein somehow, somewhen,
as in abusive, oppressive regimes, systems and individuals
they will succumb, cave in, submit.
Yak, yak.
Words cannot be believed any more;
the veil between their motive and expression grows diaphanous
- as Truth outs.
Better to read with the hearts own knowing,
see beyond the seemings;
reading the faces and consequences
the long, long view.
Like robots disseminating new Faiths,
downloading their hypnotic prescriptions,
prohibitions and back-stories.
The problem of course
(diversionary as well as projected)
being the people!
Erratic, non-compliant and dangerous
when collectively aroused:
their attitudes, opinions, consciences.
Their innate courage and common sense.
Programmable sheep? Nah!
