ALL THOSE YEARS

All the strings attached, a life’s work to unravel;
what do all those years - many or few - amount to?
answers found, lessons learned, meanings explored,
mysteries unravelled or left intact.

So what is the difference between
The certainties of youth and those of age?
To open the mouth or keep it shut!

Or is there some other purpose
beyond to grow and find, evolve and procreate?
That, in each passing breath and moment
lies a key or clue: Intimations of divinity!
In undoing all that knowing to the zero point
the knots of sequence fly apart
And nirvana is sprung.
