I HAVE A CAVE

A sortof freehold spot,

call it a palace, a transient cell

or a spatial retreat -

my heart’s own home:

exact in latitude and longitude, here ‘n now

anchored in flesh-time,

with a place-name and code

in the wilderness of extension:

a viewing point for eyes and mind:

fine fruit of parental duty and toil  -

this waking, walking, cave.

There are trees nearby, with avian residents

and nextdoor neighbours;

my family is literally overhead, near and far:

the other side of a wall -

or flimsy glob of meta-space

even see-through Time;

whether virtually or present instantly -

beloveds all.

A cave within a cave.

It has an engine, a dynamo,

a living pulse, song or note;

the cosmic Aum - Amein resounds,

surrounds

reverberates all round,

shimmering in every cell and Cell

the nuclear core (of each) alive and resonant

throughout.

Part of - participant.

We breath and move

as if separate, intact, unique.

What a joke or awake-dream:

the relativity of walk-in reality!

when we are everywhere and one, no-one or where

all at once.  And not

 - nor When or How.

Consciousness:

 be-ing self-aware,

utterly luminous, samadhic.
