LEANING towards the LIGHT

Look at how all flowers, trees and creatures -

all that craves, yearns for the enormity Light:

every bulb and seeding innately thus orients,

• longitude and eco-wise -

indoor potted plants craning towards the sky-light;

our bodies stretch naked

like turtles and snakes basking in the sun -

as newly fledged butterflies,

hibernating bears, moles and hedgehogs emerge

 with spring snow-drops;

even our tiny minds reach and long for shining, inner truths

that illuminate and reveal -

unlock, perceive and manifest 

besides energise and mobilize,

every cell and photon

 to spin, bestir, activate.

A wondrous trade in cosmic economy,

synergy and be-ingness,

for human pondering -

under our very noses!
