have their degenerative opposites

molecularly within;

the internal counterfeit design

inverse, exact to the original - but

back-to-front, inside out, mirroring…

and hey presto, 

we substitute synthetically

DDT, Glyphosate et al.

Pure poison - long term, irreversible.

Such is the myopic human:

by clever perversions of alchemy,

for one tiny short-term benefit

able to warp, pollute and destroy

generations of living DNA;

to the profit of pharmaceutical industries and for personal wealth.

Our quest to wreak the sacred

at any cost 

regardless of principles 

• our sperm count plummeting,

auto-immune diseases endemic -

at the behest of the greed to control.

What is amiss with us

 O overweening Man-thing?

the first blasphemy, pride

or sheer folly;

the terror of being afraid?
