SYNERGY

This is what angels do;

Mother Earth too - the stones and trees,

the planets on their courses.

What we as a species need to learn.

While we are stuck in competition, comparison:

don’t know HOW to act or think

holistically, synchronistically, communally;

at most a bitof familial care

and else-wise, hypothetical empathy

or conditioned survival instincts

 - taking sides, stirring hormones:

what is immediate, personal and dramatic. 

We love and mayhap learn by stories

 - and end up glued to screens, aping unseemly paragons,

 zoned into zombie worlds of pathetic obedience.
