SOVEREIGNTY 2

Did we think we ever were -

or are?

…apart from ego,

something precious, worthy, sacred - or just a cog, a recording device?

 Or perhaps,

that some of us are

-and the others are not.

We somehow manage to interpret

any craft or skill, whether leadership or service, art or construction, 

by levels of status-worthiness, like celebrity: 

their pecuniary worth.

Lesser-than some other.

Hence always dependent, subservient and needy.
