Originally, it is primordial genius -

someONE (or”thing”) thought it up:

with mundane parts, rules, options.

it plays with Time and the Player’s

• moods, capacity, their innate:

twanging the genes

stirring the heart

to edify the soul - at 0.01 hertz.

A spacetime fractal of Creation

or that-which-does-it

and provides the format for experience -

confined to a four-squared board

of chequered slots

(pure polarity!);

set with a cavorting assembly

of hierarchical beings 

with limiting abilities - some robotic, slavish or lavish, 

wildsome and wilful;

a tricksy lot - what with player too.
